Listed below are parts that we are either closing out or letting go below cost due to overstock. Check back often as the list changes frequently.

EVO PARTS

We occasionally come across a good transfer case. Click here to get your name on the list for a good used transfer case at a cheap price. All transfer cases have had the ring & pinion inspected for wear and magnafluxed. These are good units and they won't give you any trouble.

 

EVO-8 transfer case $900.  This is a good transfer case that came off a 2003 EVO-8 with unknown miles on it but it has been inspected and is in perfect working order. The stock spider gears are fine and the ring & pinion has been shot peened.

 

EVO 6 helical limited slip front differential, $325 barely used, in perfect shape.  This will work in the 2003-2005 EVO with the purchase of the EVO-7 carrier housing listed below.

 

EVO 8/9 helical limited slip front differential, $625  in perfect shape.  This came out of a 2006 EVO-9 with 20k miles on it and it will fit all the 2003-2006 EVOs.

 

EVO-7 front differential carrier housing $35, slightly used, perfect shape. This is the part that gets all torn up when your stock front diff destroys the spider gears.

 

EVO-8 front differential carrier housing $25, slightly used, perfect shape. This is the part that gets all torn up when your stock front diff destroys the spider gears.

 

EVO-8 transfer case converted for FWD use, w/ forged spider gearset  & RIPGRIP $400. Allows one to dyno the EVO on a single or for a FWD conversion in a Lancer. We remove the tail portion of the transfer case and TIG weld a block off plate to close it up. The front diff is welded to the viscous.

RIPGRIP FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

We have too many front differentials piled up over here, so we are going to try something different...

Get a RIPGRIP and a remanufactured front differential for $100.

These differentials are in perfect shape and ready for installation to replace your worn out front differential. We start with a good used AWD front differential. The differential housing is inspected for wear, magnafluxed and glass beaded clean.  The speedo drive gear is in perfect condition. The bearing posts are measured to make sure the bearings fit tightly, not loose which can cause gear breakage. The axle bores are free of damage and the spider gearset are either new or a used matched set that has been shot peened. The side gears are machined flat to get the most limited slip action possible while improving the life of the gears while the housing is modified to improve oil flow to the shims.  This is the extra stuff that we do so that the front differential will last without failure. Afterwards, the gearset is fitted with new shims and the RIPGRIP. All units have good bearings on them but if you would like us to press on a set of new bearings the cost is $50.

What is a RIPGRIP?  It's that limit slip insert thing for your transmission's open-style front differential.  CNC'd from tool steel and paired with some high tension springs so you get the most lock-up possible. You will not break the thing! We stock them for the the FWD & AWD Mitsubishi vehicles and custom units are available upon request.
